Our in-shop Computer Repair Service Process is designed to minimize your down time, provide you with an upfront repair cost and keep you informed about your service order status at all time. Below you will find detailed information about in-shop service process and things to know when you will bring your laptop for service.
Step1 – Drop-off the computer or laptop for service at:
- Main location in Tonawanda at 2148 Niagara Falls Blvd.
- Or at one of our conveniently located drop-off locations
- Hamburg - 17 Main Street at the Comfort Zone Cafe
- Buffalo - 1002 Elmwood Ave at the Comfort Zone Cafe
You will complete a Work Order form that will include your contact information (name, phone number, email address, etc) details about the problem that you have and brand and model of the computer or laptop that you drop-off.
*A $69 Diagnostic / Estimate / is due at time of pickup. A downpayment is only required for parts that must be ordered. You will receive a copy of your Work Order, a copy of your receipt and a claim check stub
Step 2 – Diagnostic / Estimate Phase – your service order will be assigned to a technician that will diagnose the problem(s) that you have. Once the diagnostic is completed the shop supervisor will create a repair estimate in our system. Within minutes you will recive a service repar quote by email and front desk will call you with details. The service quote will include:
- Description of the problem(s) found and resolution to resolve it (them)
- Flat Labor Rate to Complete the Service
- Cost of the Parts (if necessary)
- Estimate Time of Execution
- Recommended Upgrades
Step 3 – Order Parts
If parts are necesary to complete the service and we do not have them in stock we will order them at the time and price of your convenience
Step 4 – Service Completion / Testing
Upon approval and arrival of the necessary parts, we will complete the service and test it thoroughly. You will either receive a confirmation email that your service order is ready for pick-up or the front desk will call you.
Step 5 – Post Service Support
Our dedication for 100% customer satisfaction does not stop at the time of pick-up. We guarantee our work for 90 days warranty and 2 weeks of FREE remote support for any questions or problems that you might have.
